This is a simple bookkeeping (accounts) excel spreadsheet template suitable for sole traders and micro businesses in Ireland.
The template consists of 5 pages/tables: business details, sales, expenses, capital allowances and the income statement.
There are 5 steps to complete to get to record your accounts for a year.
Step 1 – fill in your business details,
Step 2 – fill in your sales/income,
Step 3 – fill in your expenses,
Step 4 – fill in your capital allowances (assets if you bought some; for example van, furniture, phone, laptop etc.)
Step 5 – fill in your income statement (Profit and Loss Account), most are prefilled with details you completed in previous pages.
The Excel file has many pre-filled cells and formulas which help you with calculations. The PDF file is for those who want print out blank tables and fill them in with pen.
The template is available for MS Excel 2007 Onward (size: 32 KB) and PDF (size: 143 KB).
